The difference is the C-Flex waveform: a better way to deliver sleep therapy that takes the work out of exhalation. To do this, C-Flex tracks – and reacts to – every breath throughout the night. Patients who use C-Flex simply feel better, and with good reason. A study published in the June 2005 issue of Chest * showed that patients using a REMstar Pro with C-Flex used their therapy an average of 1.7 hours longer per night than patients on CPAP after three months, and the difference in adherence widened over time.
